Callum Voisin Joins Andretti Formula E as Official Development Driver

Callum Voisin is taking the next step in his journey with Andretti Formula E, joining the team as its Official Development Driver ahead of the 2026/27 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship season.
Following his outing with the American outfit at the Official Rookie Test in Madrid earlier this year, the British-Swiss driver will become a key part of the team’s simulator program and race preparation, supporting Jake Dennis, Felipe Drugovich and the engineering team as the series enters its GEN4 era.
Much of that contribution will come before the team arrives at the circuit. Working closely with Andretti’s engineers, Voisin will help build the understanding and preparation for each race weekend, with his simulator duties providing valuable support as the team gets to grips with a new generation of Formula E machinery.
For Voisin, the appointment offers an opportunity to build on his experience with Andretti while taking on a more established role within the team. “I’m really pleased to be joining Andretti Formula E as Official Development Driver,” said Voisin. “Working with the team at the rookie test gave me a great introduction to how everyone operates, so it’s exciting to be building on that relationship. There’s a lot to learn with GEN4 and I’m looking forward to supporting the team prepare for each race.”
Voisin arrives on the back of a standout season in Porsche Carrera Cup GB, where he secured the 2026 title with Rosland Gold by Century Motorsport with two races to spare, ending his campaign with nine victories. That success adds to a racing background spanning single-seaters, sports cars and endurance competition. Having won the 2023 GB3 Championship with Rodin Carlin, Voisin progressed to FIA Formula 3, where he claimed a Feature Race victory from pole position at Spa-Francorchamps in 2024. More recently, he has combined his British Porsche campaign with appearances in Porsche Carrera Cup Italia and competed in the Asian Le Mans Series with High Class Racing.
His first experience of Formula E machinery came at the 2025 Official Rookie Test in Berlin with Cupra Kiro, where he finished fifth overall, before joining Andretti for the 2026 Official Rookie Test at Circuito del Jarama in Madrid in March.
Team Principal Campbell Hobson sees the position as an opportunity to strengthen the team’s preparation while supporting Voisin’s continued development. “We’re pleased to welcome Callum into a more permanent role with Andretti Formula E,” said the newly appointed Team Principal. “His work in the simulator will be an important part of our race preparation, supporting our engineers and both drivers as we build our understanding of GEN4. Having already worked together at the rookie test earlier this year, there’s a foundation to build on and his success across different categories demonstrates his ability to adapt to new challenges.”
With Dennis and Drugovich returning to the race lineup and the team beginning its partnership with Nissan, Voisin’s arrival adds further support to Andretti’s preparations for Season 13.
