- Heading into tomorrow’s race, Dennis climbs one place in the Drivers’ Championship standings to fourth with 109 points.
“Overall, very happy to come away with my second podium in a row. I think third was generally the maximum we could have achieved today. We weren’t quite quick enough in the pit stop window to mount an attack for the race win, but nevertheless, to come away with a third and fourth for the team is another great points haul for the team in our Championship fight. It could have easily got very messy out there with the conditions, but I think Felipe and I did a good job to bring it home and score valuable points. We’ll be looking to do the same again tomorrow. Hopefully the weather conditions hold off and we can actually get some racing under our belts.”

Qualifying
- Drugovich was improving on his final run in Group B however, lost time in the final turn and missed out the Duels by less than a tenth, finishing fifth in the group.
- Brazilian lost time into Turn 1 and fought to make up for it over the rest of the lap, compromising his run by going deep into Turn 4 and consequently missed out on pole.
Race
- Like his teammate, Drugovich was able to gain positions on the opening laps of the race and make his way from ninth up to fourth by Lap 4.
- Unfortunately, on the same lap the Brazilian had contact from Rowland and as a result lost track position, falling to 10th.
- The No. 28 was the first in the field take his PIT BOOST on Lap 15 and once the cycle of charging stops had finished, the Brazilian remained in 10th.
- Climbing to ninth before the Safety Car period, Drugovich also took his Attack Mode on the restart and was able to make his way to fourth at the checkered.
- The Brazilian’s fourth-place finish marks his fifth consecutive points-scoring result and fourth top five in Formula E.
“It was a good race today. The start was a bit messy with the fighting to get up into the front and with nobody knowing if the rain would continue. But we did a good job and optimized our race. The car felt good and I’m glad Jake and I were able to bring home some good points for the team. I hope we’re able to race tomorrow and the rain holds off as we have a solid car and I’m confident we can fight for another result.”

Roger Griffiths
Team Principal

“Today was a really positive day for the team and a strong way to start the Shanghai doubleheader. The conditions were far from straightforward, particularly with the revised timetable and the rain making the race and track conditions very unpredictable, but everyone executed the race well. Jake drove another mature race to secure his second consecutive podium and maximized what was available to us today, while Felipe continued the momentum he’s built over the last few races with another excellent drive into the top five. Considering he lost ground after the contact in the opening laps, to recover to fourth was a good effort and another sign of the confidence he’s building in the car.
I think we can be pleased with how we managed the race. The strategy calls, PIT BOOST timing and Attack Mode execution all came together well, allowing both drivers to capitalize when it mattered most. To score the second-highest points haul of any team today is exactly what we needed and it closes the gap to those ahead of us in the Teams’ Championship standings. There’s still another race to come tomorrow and, if the weather gives us the opportunity, we’ll be looking to carry this momentum forward and challenge for another strong result.”
