INDIANAPOLIS (April 4, 2024) – Andretti Global, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, announced today that it successfully completed its ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management surveillance audit by DQS Inc. on March 1, 2024.

ISO 14001 is a globally recognized Environmental Management System (EMS) standard that organizations can use to identify and manage their environmental impacts and establish goals and targets for improvement. The standard covers a range of areas, including the use of natural resources, waste management, pollution prevention and compliance with environmental regulations.

Andretti Global was first certified in February of 2023 following the lead of the team’s UK-based, all-electric racing division, Andretti Formula E, which received the ISO 14001 certification in August of 2021. Following in March 2022, Andretti Formula E was additionally awarded the FIA’s Three Star Environmental Accreditation, the highest level of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile’s Environmental Accreditation program. This achievement continues to serve as a founding principle for the team’s global sustainability goals

In pursuit of ISO 14001 recertification, Andretti Global hit all four of its internally focused goals including the reduction of water, electrical, gas and paper consumption within the current Indianapolis headquarters. As Andretti Global progresses construction of its new universal headquarters based in Fishers, Indiana, focus continues on the commitment to the best sustainability practices by seeking to align with building partners sharing environmentally conscious values.
