Race Notes
- The final day of track action began this morning with a disruptive Free Practice 1 session for Jake Dennis who suffered from technical braking issues in Turn 1’s Saint-Dévote. Even with said problems, the No. 27 driver was able to set the third fastest lap time in 300kWh running, though classified 18th overall. On the other side of the garage Drugovich had a productive session, sitting just one place behind Dennis in 300kWh power and 11th overall.
- The Andretti duo both took part in Group A of qualifying, with Drugovich progressing through to the Duel stages in fourth though teammate Dennis missed out, classifying seventh. The No. 28 driver’s qualifying result marks Andretti’s 47th Duel appearance.
- Both Dennis and Drugovich led an aggressive race around the Circuit de Monaco this afternoon. With both drivers opting for late Attack Mode activations, they were able to climb the order and stay out of trouble in what was a chaotic race with multiple Full Course Yellow periods and on-track incidents with resulting penalties.
- With some smart overtaking in the opening and closing stages of the E-Prix, utilizing his extra 50kWh of power, Drugovich was able to make his way into third. With a 10-second time penalty ahead for Mahindra Racing’s Edoardo Mortara, the Brazilian was promoted to second to claim a podium finish in the Principality.
- Dennis led a similar race to teammate Drugovich, delaying Attack Mode activations and making steady progress through the field from his starting position of 13th. However, with those drivers taking earlier Attack Modes, Dennis was in the middle of the fighting pack and so had to make the most of track position when it counted. Taking the checkered in seventh on the road, the No. 27 driver was promoted to sixth when DS Penske’s Taylor Barnard’s 20-second time penalty was applied in front.
- The 2026 Monaco E-Prix II saw two Full Course Yellow periods, each lasting one lap and not causing any added laps.
- The double-point finish from Round 10 marks the Andretti Formula E team’s 140th and 141st top-10 finish, while Drugovich’s podium counts for the team’s 72nd top five and 41st podium in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
- Today’s 26 point haul elevates the US-flag team to fifth in the Team’s Championship standings on 106 points.

Qualifying
- After Dennis’ morning practice issues, the Briton missed out on the Duels, finishing seventh in his group.
Race
- Dennis was able to make his way to ninth in the opening two laps, gaining four positions with an aggressive start while carefully managing his energy reserves.
- Taking his first Attack Mode on Lap 11, the Briton dropped to 11th. Using the extra 50kWh of power, Dennis made his way to fourth and kept himself in the mix while those around him took their Attack Modes.
- Dennis was able keep himself mostly out of trouble and defend well from those in their second Attack Modes. Having saved some energy earlier in the E-Prix, the Briton built a gap to the cars behind to not lose track position when taking his final extra 50kWh of power, remaining eighth.
- Making his way to seventh in the closing stages, Dennis was promoted to sixth at the checkered due to a penalty for Barnard ahead.
- Becoming the 13th most experienced Formula E driver with 89 race starts today’s, the Brit’s sixth-place result marks his 58th top 10.
“First of all, I just want to say a massive congrats to Felipe [Drugovich] on his first podium in Formula E. It’s a massive milestone for any driver and to do it with Andretti in Monaco is very special.
From my side, I think taking eight points from starting outside of the top 10 in 13th was maximizing what we could’ve achieved today. We started just a little bit too far back on a track which is very hard to overtake, but the points haul from second and sixth today is really inspiring and gives us good confidence for the rest of the season.”

Qualifying
- Drugovich was able to progress into the Duels and faced Cupra Kiro’s Dan Ticktum in the Quarter Finals, narrowly missing out on progression by 0.142 tenths of a second.
- Today’s qualifying result marks the Brazilians fourth Duel appearance and best qualifying result in Formula E.
Race
- Making up two positions on the opening lap, Drugovich stuck with the leading pack up until the first cycle of cars made their way through with early Attack Modes, dropping down to ninth.
- Taking his first four minutes of Attack Mode on Lap 12, Drugovich was able to follow teammate Dennis ahead, also in Attack, and climb to second by Lap 14.
- Getting ahead of cars in front who had opted for early second Attack Modes thanks to an energy conservative approach to the middle phase of the race, the Brazilian driver took his final 50kWh of power and made his way from fourth to third. With Mortara’s penalty ahead, Drugovich was promoted to second to claim his career best Formula E result.
- Drugovich’s second place marks his first Formula E career podium, best career result to date and second top-five finish.
- Scoring 18 points, the Brazilian elevates himself to 12th in the Drivers’ World Championship standings on 32 points.
“That was the goal! It’s been a really good day overall with the potential that was there. The car was really good and I think we did everything we could to be up there today. Obviously, I wanted to win today, but sometimes you have to go for the safe option – particularly given how tricky the start of the season has been. All in all though, it’s been a great day and hopefully now we can continue with this momentum for the rest of the season.”

Roger Griffiths
Team Principal

“What a mega day for the team in Monaco. Qualifying was better and we learnt a lot from the approach that we took yesterday. That transpired into a much better result, certainly on the 28 side of the garage.
It was pretty rough and tumble racing, particularly if you look at the damage to Jake’s car. That’s a little bit of a feature from racing here in Monaco. But it’s great to secure another double-points finish for the team. I’m really pleased for everybody and looking forward to going seeing what we can achieve for the rest of the season.”
