Andretti Formula E Partners With Girls Like Racing to Break Barriers in São Paulo with Karting Event Promoting Diversity and Development in Motorsport

INDIANAPOLIS & SÃO PAULO (December 4, 2025) – Ahead of the 2025 Google Cloud São Paulo E-Prix and Season 12 opener, the Andretti Formula E team partnered with Girls Like Racing, a Brazilian community-led organization dedicated to uniting women passionate about motorsport, to host an inspiring career event and karting experience designed to highlight pathways into the historically male-dominated industry.
The event at Speedland Karting Center welcomed 30 participants from across Brazil for a hands-on day of learning, racing and mentorship. Attendees engaged in a series of multi-station sessions showcasing the diverse range of careers within motorsport. At the mechanics station, they worked directly with Andretti Formula E mechanics to learn how to change a wheel using a real Formula E car, then tried it themselves. In the engineering and data station, they reviewed on-board footage and performance data to understand how engineers interpret telemetry and help drivers find time on track. At the commercial and livery design station, they explored how branding, livery design and partner visibility shape a team’s identity, then created their own livery concepts using principles of design, storytelling and commercial strategy they had been taught.
Following the sessions, Andretti Formula E drivers Jake Dennis and Felipe Drugovich, offered track tips and coaching advice ahead of the girls’ karting session. The event was attended by Andretti Global President and TWG Motorsports Chief Operating Officer Jill Gregory, who spent time engaging with participants and sharing insights from her leadership experience. “Creating pathways for young women in motorsport is essential to the future of our industry,” said Gregory. “Andretti and TWG Motorsports are committed to supporting initiatives like this that give girls the tools, confidence and exposure they need to pursue careers across all areas of racing. It’s inspiring to see their passion and curiosity firsthand.”
Drugovich, who will be making his Andretti Formula E debut in his home country of Brazil, also spoke about the impact of the event: “It was great to meet so many talented and enthusiastic young women,” said the Brazilian. “Motorsport needs more opportunities like this, and I’m proud Andretti is helping open those doors. The energy the girls brought to the karting session was amazing to see.”
The activation forms part of Andretti Formula E’s broader commitment to diversity, development and inclusion, aiming to inspire future talent and strengthen female representation across motorsport. The partnership with Girls Like Racing continues to build on last year’s success, creating meaningful opportunities for young women to engage directly with industry professionals and experience the excitement of motorsport up close.
