Del Conca Gives Andretti’s Formula E Banbury Home A New Look
Andretti Autosport’s
Banbury shop, which is home-base for the team’s ABB Formula E program, recently
received a new, refreshed look courtesy of Andretti Autosport’s new relationship
with Italian ceramic surfaces company Del Conca. The Del Conca Group, based in
Rimini, Italy, is attentive to the respect of natural resources and the
containment of energy consumption, achieving a quality product with high-level
aesthetic and technical characteristics while respecting the environment –
aligning perfecting with Andretti Formula E, the sustainable energy leg of
Andretti Autosport.
Known for providing
some of the best performing products suitable for highly technological
environments, The Del Conca Group specializes in the production of ceramic
floor and wall coverings ideal for environments which are subject to
high-volume, large-load areas.
The processes within the production
cycle, along with the selection of its environmentally-sensitive suppliers are
the base principles of the Del Conca Group’s environmental policy.
“Andretti
Autosport was chosen with a very specific goal,” explains Davide Mularoni, President of
Ceramica del Conca Spa, “to build
the Andretti race shop in Europe that best reflects the value of the brand and
the spirit of the team. For this reason, the cement-effect porcelain stoneware
surfaces with an essential texture used in light grey were chosen. A minimalist
yet impressive aesthetic result, perfect for Andretti Autosport that sought to
recreate simple yet vibrant atmospheres, full of personality, combining them
with the exceptional technical performance of Del Conca floorings.”
The
porcelain stoneware is able to guarantee resistance to stains, ease of cleaning
and immutability in our high-impact environments. The result of the space
provides a contemporary mood, rich in technique, cutting-edge technology and
aesthetic research. The large format chosen also enhances the structural
peculiarities and enables expansion of the spaces.
