PARTNERS DRIVING STEM TO SUPPORT DALTON KELLETT FOR 2019
Four-time Indy Lights podium finisher, Dalton Kellett, has partnered with Partners Driving STEM to bring STEM awareness to open-wheel racing in his third season of Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires competition.
“We believe that working with Dalton Kellett will inspire Ten80 National STEM League students to pursue their own passions and express themselves through the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics,” says Partners Driving STEM Board Chair Beverly Simmons.”
“I’m extremely excited to partner with Ten80, leveraging my platform as an athlete to promote STEM education and ultimately influence kids to pursue their dreams in STEM fields,” said Kellett. “With Ten80’s National STEM League and the INDYCAR market, we’ll be able to engage with thousands of students per year. Ten80’s record for meaningful engagement, coupled with their hands-on learning approach goes hand-in-hand with my belief that academic principles must be put into practice to have a lasting impact. I look forward to seeing our relationship grow over the coming years.”
Named one of the top four STEM programs in the country in 2017, Ten80 National STEM League will join the No. 28 Indy Lights team this weekend in Kellett’s hometown for the Honda Indy Toronto race but already has their sights set on continuing the partnership. The pairing hopes to maintain a relationship into the future as Kellett introduces Partners Driving STEM to the INDYCAR market, promoting STEM and engaging young fans with their programs.
