ORAFOL AMERICAS EXTENDS PARTNERSHIP WITH ANDRETTI RALLYCROSS
Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross will have a new look
racing into the first two double-headers of the 2017 Red Bull Global Rallycross season,
shifting colors as Scott Speed shifts gears in his No. 41 ORAFOL Beetle GRC at
Global Rallycross events in New England and Ontario.
ORAFOL Americas, a recognized global manufacturer of premium
vinyl graphic products, reflective solutions and adhesive tape systems used in
signage, graphics, industrial, traffic and safety applications, is extending
their partnership with Andretti Autosport under a multiyear agreement. Through
the partnership, ORAFOL will have a significant presence with the Volkswagen
Andretti Rallycross effort for the next two events and will adorn Scott Speed’s
color-shifting car as he takes to the track for Rounds 3 and 4 in Thompson,
Connecticut, and Rounds 5 and 6 in Ottawa, Ontario.
An integral part of Andretti Autosport’s family of partners,
ORAFOL has been heavily used within the team’s Indianapolis-based motorsport facility
and race car entries since 2008, providing products used across the team’s
IndyCar, Indy Lights and Global Rallycross programs.
“We’re thrilled to
extend our partnership once again to Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross, supporting
their search for victory in Thompson, Connecticut, and Ottawa, Ontario,”
said ORAFOL Americas President and CEO Randall Mertz. “The color-changing wrap featured on the No. 41 ORAFOL Beetle GRC is our
ORACAL 970RA Premium Shift Effect Cast in Ultramarine Violet, and we can’t wait
to see it on track this weekend!”
“It’s great to extend
and expand the ORAFOL partnership across our teams,” said Doug Bresnahan, Chief
Marketing Officer, Andretti Autosport. “ORAFOL
is a long-standing partner and provides our team with innovative graphic media
technology, products and solutions that bring the colors of our sport to life
at the race track. Having their support is critical to our success and we are
fortunate to have ORAFOL as our Official Graphic Media Supplier.”
