Andretti Formula E to Carry the Colours of TE Connectivity at the London ePrix
FIA Formula-E Championship team Andretti Formula E has revealed that the team’s pair of Spark-Renault race cars will carry the orange and white livery of global tech company ‘TE Connectivity’ for this weekend’s championship finale in London, England.
The bespoke ‘street’ track shall be in a unique location for rounds 10 and 11 of the all-electric series. Set within Battersea Park on the south bank of the River Thames, the 200-acre Victorian park, built between 1854 and 1870, is situated amongst some of the most affluent residential areas of the capital and houses a children’s’ zoo, rowing lake, original Pump House and a grand one-kilometre riverside promenade overlooking the Chelsea and Albert bridges.
Jean-Éric Vergne and Simona de Silvestro will pilot the No. 27 and No. 28 machines respectively for the doubleheader event this weekend. Cast your FanBoost vote in support of Andretti Formula E via fanboost.fiaformulae.com.
A press event will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. (BST) in the London ePrix Media Centre within the Battersea Park circuit to further discuss the relationship between Andretti and TE Connectivity.
The 10th round of FIA Formula E competition will go live in the U.S. on Fox Sports 1 at 10:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, June 27 with the finale being broadcast live the following day, Sunday, June 28 on Fox Sports 2 at 10:30 a.m. ET.
