Andretti Global Carries Winning Momentum Into Milwaukee Doubleheader
Coming off a historic victory in Washington, D.C. last weekend, Andretti Global will look to carry momentum into an action-packed doubleheader at The Milwaukee Mile. Returning from a short break from racing, the INDY NXT by Firestone squad will rejoin the action, eager to replicate last year’s standout performance when Andretti swept the podium on the Wisconsin oval.
Fresh off his win on the Streets of Washington, Kyle Kirkwood aims to narrow the Championship points gap further with plenty of points up for grabs across the two races this weekend. Joining him on the D.C. podium, Milwaukee Mile veteran Will Power looks to extend his top-three finish streak alongside Marcus Ericsson, who hasn’t finished outside the top six in the past four races.

Will Power

Kyle Kirkwood
- Fresh off a historic victory at the inaugural Freedom 250 Grand Prix of Washington, D.C., Kyle Kirkwood will make his fourth start at The Milwaukee Mile this weekend. Kirkwood has two opportunities during the doubleheader to target his second career oval victory.
- In last year’s event, Kirkwood finished 12th after being caught out by untimely caution flags and shuffled back in the field. His best Milwaukee finish was eighth in Race 2 of 2024.
Marcus Ericsson
- Marcus Ericsson will also make his fourth start at The Milwaukee Mile, looking to build on recent oval success this season, including a podium finish at World Wide Technology Raceway and a sixth-place finish at Nashville Superspeedway.
- Last year at Milwaukee, Ericsson started 13th but dropped back after an ill-timed caution following his second pit stop, ultimately finishing 19th, one lap down.
- Ericsson’s best Milwaukee finish came in Race 2 of 2024, where he placed fifth.

- After a short break from racing, INDY NXT by Firestone is back on track this weekend for some oval racing at The Milwaukee Mile. The Andretti Global INDY NXT team will return to the Wisconsin oval after a standout all-Andretti podium-sweep performance.

- Lochie Hughes is set for his second start at The Milwaukee Mile this weekend. In his track debut last year, he earned a podium finish after jumping into the top three on the opening lap.
Seb Murray
- Seb Murray returns to The Milwaukee Mile looking for redemption after his track debut last year, where he started near the back of the grid and retired early after falling a lap down before the halfway point of the race.
Max Taylor
- Making his first Milwaukee start for Andretti Global, Max Taylor returns to the track for his second career INDY NXT appearance. In his debut on the oval last year, Taylor gained six positions during the race to secure a top-10 finish.
Josh Pierson
- Josh Pierson will make his third INDY NXT start at The Milwaukee Mile this weekend and his first with Andretti Global. Last year, Pierson earned his best oval result to date with an 11th-place finish.
