Andretti Global Prepares for a New Canadian Challenge in Markham
The NTT INDYCAR SERIES heads north this weekend as Andretti Global takes on the inaugural Streets of Markham, tackling a brand-new temporary circuit in the eastern precinct of Markham’s downtown district.
The 12-turn, 2.19-mile street course features a unique double-sided pit lane, high-speed straightaways, and heavy-braking, technical complexes designed to test car setup and driver precision.
While all three Andretti drivers are making their Markham debuts this weekend, each brings a proven track record of Canadian street-circuit experience. Marcus Ericsson, sporting new primary partner RVI Group for the Streets of Markham, returns to Canada with two career top-five finishes on the Streets of Toronto. He is joined by three-time Toronto winner Will Power, who enters his fifth street course event with Andretti Global following a podium finish in Portland, and street-circuit standout Kyle Kirkwood, who aims to build on his temporary-circuit record after capturing a victory in Arlington earlier this season.
