Andretti Formula E Returns to London for GEN3 Era Finale Championship Fight
Andretti Formula E heads to the British capital for the 2026 Hankook London E-Prix, where the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will crown its Season 12 Champions and bring the GEN3 era to a close. The unique 2.07km, 20-turn ExCeL Circuit, the only track to weave both indoors and outdoors, presents one final challenge with its contrasting surfaces, changing grip levels and technical layout demanding precision, adaptability and strategic execution. Arriving on the back of a standout Asian campaign that yielded 113 Championship points, nearly double that of any other team, Andretti sits third in the Teams’ standings, while Jake Dennis returns to his home race leading the Drivers’ Championship with the opportunity to secure his second Formula E Drivers’ World Championship title at the same venue where he claimed his first in 2023. London is Dennis’ most successful Formula E circuit, where the two-time home race winner is also the highest-scoring driver in the event’s history. Meanwhile, Felipe Drugovich heads into the finale leading the battle for Rookie of the Season honors, ensuring Andretti has plenty to fight for across the final weekend of the GEN3 era.

Jake Dennis

“The turnaround in performance from the team beginning in the Asia stretch of the season has been quite remarkable, though not unexpected. Historically, we have always performed better in hot and humid conditions and while we have that on our side, repeating this over the recent weeks is a great endorsement of the entire team, especially when you consider the remarkable rebuild of Drugovich’s car in Tokyo. It seems that the more pressure the team is put under, the better our response.
Heading into London, Jake has the opportunity to claim a second Drivers’ title. For him to join that elite club of two-time World Champions would be a remarkable feat. There are very few that can claim that accolade, and to do it in front of his home crowd would be just amazing. I have seen his desire and intensity increase as the results have come, staying later at the track, working more closely with the engineering team, questioning and challenging each decision. You can tell that he really wants this.
Although London presents a unique challenge with its indoor-outdoor layout, our approach will be the same as every other weekend. It’s crucial we hit the ground running to be in the right setup window, run cleanly in each session and simply build on the performance run by run. Qualifying will be more important than other tracks due to the tight and twisty nature of the track. Passing is not as straightforward at the ExCeL, even in the energy-limited races. We need to ensure our preparation remains focused, and hopefully we can deliver another strong weekend to end this chapter of the GEN3 era on a high in the same fashion that we began it with.”
