Colton Herta, Gainbridge and Pasadena Humane Join Forces to Support Pet Adoption and Animals Impacted by LA Wildfires

Limited-Edition Dog Bandana Available for Purchase at ShopAndretti.com; Fans Can Also Join Herta + Gainbridge to Donate to Pasadena Humane Here Until April 30
Andretti INDYCAR driver Colton Herta has teamed up with Gainbridge® and Pasadena Humane for a unique initiative to raise awareness for pet adoption and support animals impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. Starting today, fans can purchase a limited-edition dog bandana at ShopAndretti.com with 100 percent of the proceeds going toward Pasadena Humane. A select number of bandanas will also be sold on-site at Andretti INDYCAR’s merchandise tent at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach from Fri., April 11 – Sun., April 13.
“The Andretti platform in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES allows Gainbridge a great opportunity to use our partnership to highlight worthwhile initiatives in the communities we visit,” said Mike Nichols, Chief of Sponsorship Strategy and Activation for Group 1001. “What makes it authentic is when one of our athletes has a passion for a cause, so by aligning Colton with Pasadena Humane, we hope we can make a meaningful impact in a fun way.”
Pasadena Humane is continuing to serve as a critical lifeline for pets impacted by the Eaton Fire in Altadena, Pasadena and surrounding areas. Originally from Valencia, California, this issue hits close to home for Herta, which is why he was inspired to partner with Gainbridge to bring awareness to the essential work that the Pasadena Humane does for these animals in need.
“As someone who grew up in the Los Angeles area and has two shelter dogs of my own, I’m excited to team up with Gainbridge to support Pasadena Humane,” said Herta. “Animal adoption is something I’m passionate about, and it’s great to be involved in a project that helps raise funds for such an important cause.”

Available in both small and large sizes, the dog bandanas match the black and yellow colors of Herta’s Gainbridge Honda. In addition to all the proceeds from the dog bandana sales, Herta and Gainbridge have also invited fans to help them meet their goal of raising $5,000 for the Pasadena Humane. Online donations can be made here until April 30. During the Long Beach race weekend, the No. 26 Gainbridge Honda will include the Pasadena Humane logo on the rear wing and inside halo.
Additionally, paw prints and the names of Herta’s rescue dogs, Henry and Sandi, will be featured on the sidepod. Herta’s helmet will also include a sticker illustration of Henry and Sandi.
“All of us at Pasadena Humane are grateful to have support from Colton and Gainbridge,” said Kevin McManus, PR & Communications Director for Pasadena Humane. “We are excited to see our organization featured so prominently on his car and the fact that Colton is an advocate for animal adoption makes it even more special. All of the staff and volunteers will be cheering him on for a victory this weekend and throughout the remainder of the INDYCAR season.”
Fans can purchase dog bandanas and Andretti INDYCAR merchandise onsite at the team’s merchandise tent throughout the race weekend, and will have the opportunity to meet Herta and his teammates Kyle Kirkwood and Marcus Ericsson for an autograph session at the tent on Sat., April 12 from 3 pm – 3:20 pm.
